Adecco Canada is seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant for a temporary to permanent role in Courtice, ON.

This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $27.00 and provides an opportunity to support a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the firm professionally and courteously in all communications, both written and verbal.
  • Respond to visitors and telephone calls promptly and effectively.
  • Coordinate, print, and file annual tax packages (T1, T2, T4, T5).
  • Organize meeting and event logistics, including booking rooms, arranging meals, equipment, and materials, handling RSVPs, setting up conference calls or video conferences, and managing travel arrangements.
  • Research, collect, prepare, and distribute materials for internal and external meetings.
  • Manage electronic and paper-based files, including e-signature and digital archiving.
  • Maintain and update databases and registers.
  • Track planning, engagement, and legal correspondence.
  • Prepare, edit, and proofread documents, proposals, and presentations.
  • Prepare, update, print, assemble, and file financial statements and tax-related forms.
  • Assist with billing processes and invoice preparation, including collections.
  • Provide support for firm technology and updates to processes and policies.
  • Review and suggest improvements to internal systems and processes.
  • Provide backup support for the front desk as required.
Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills with clients and team members.
  • Exhibits sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Self-directed learner with strong initiative and ability to follow direction.
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment and IT troubleshooting.
  • Innovative, adaptable, and able to handle multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional, discreet, and maintains integrity in all duties.
  • Post-secondary education with administrative and accounting knowledge.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced administrative role supporting senior staff.
  • Positive attitude and capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
