About the Role:

The First Nations Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant for the Resource Team Nursing Program. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support services under the supervision of a Nurse in Charge or Community Health Nurse, and provide reception and general information services to First Nations clients, partners, and communities.

About the Position:

  • Provide administrative support services, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
  • Assist with reception duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting clients.
  • Provide general information services to First Nations clients, partners, and communities.
  • Travel and support various rural and remote communities in the Northern region of BC.

About You:

  • Grade 12, including completion of one year of post-secondary education in Business or Office Administration, plus one (1) year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Valid BC Driver's License
  • 1 year of related experience
  • Basic knowledge of First Nations history, culture, and etiquette.
