Position: Administrative Assistant for Nursing Program (Resource Team)

Salary: $52,579 - $56,755 annually (details provided below)

Employment Type: Permanent

Work Schedule: Full-time (core hours 9am-3pm, Monday to Friday)

Role Overview

In the capacity of an Administrative Assistant for the Nursing Program, you will deliver a range of administrative support services under the oversight of the Regional Operations Manager. You will also work closely with the Nurse-in-charge to provide reception and general information services to First Nations clients, partners, and communities. As part of the resource team, you will travel to and assist various rural and remote communities in Northern BC.

Candidate Profile

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Completion of Grade 12 education
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A valid BC Driver's License
  • Basic understanding of First Nations history, culture, and etiquette

Pay Range Explanation

The pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full-time equivalent hours. Typically, employees are hired, transferred, or promoted within the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience relative to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is reserved for those who are industry experts with exceptional experience and competencies necessary to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior level.
