About the Role:
The First Nations Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Resource Team as an Administrative Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support services under the supervision of a Nurse in Charge or Community Health Nurse. Your primary responsibilities will include providing reception and general information services to First Nations clients, partners, and communities.
About the Position:
- Provide administrative support services, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with travel arrangements and coordination of meetings and events.
- Support the development and implementation of administrative processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
About You:
- Grade 12, including completion of one year of post-secondary education in Business or Office Administration, plus one (1) year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid BC Driver's License
- 1 year of related experience
- Basic knowledge of First Nations history, culture, and etiquette.
