About the Role: Lrostaffing is currently in search of a seasoned bilingual professional to take on the role of Operations Manager and Labour Relations. This is a permanent position that involves leading a proactive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and guide the internal Labour Relations, Membership Services, and Finance departments.
- Ensure adherence to legislated and contractual representation duties.
- Provide training and supervision to guarantee compliance with by-laws and collective agreements.
- Offer expertise on multi-jurisdictional labour legislative authorities and ensure compliance.
- Assist in the formulation and execution of policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to meet organizational objectives.
- Manage financial operations in accordance with organizational goals and budgetary constraints.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Labour Relations, Industrial Relations, or a related legal field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Fluency in both English and French is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in public administration or labour law.
- At least 5 years of significant experience representing a complainant in grievance procedures or before administrative tribunals.
- Experience in advocacy, community organizing, or labour education is considered an asset.
