About the Role:
The Central Systems Support Specialist is a key member of the Information Technology team at our Corporate Office. This role is responsible for managing application integrations for Business Intelligence, ensuring seamless data flow between integration points and revenue streams. The successful candidate will work closely with commercial business stakeholders, corporate IT teams, and external vendors to drive business growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and track the integration of new hotels, applications, and system upgrades to meet business requirements and goals.
- Perform systems integration certification testing, ensuring message flow validation and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with vendors, business analysts, and system owners to resolve issues and implement new services or applications.
- Train end-users and employees on new application features and best practices.
- Communicate updates and next steps with colleagues, hotels, and vendors, utilizing effective communication channels.
Requirements:
- 2 years' experience with ORS (Opera Reservation System) / PMS Opera, preferably.
- Technical support experience, with a focus on hospitality or a related field.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma, with a focus on hospitality or a related field.
- Knowledge of Global Distribution Systems, considered an asset.
