Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Executive Director to lead our Talent Acquisition and Development team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with our organization's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic talent acquisition plan that aligns with our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of recruitment professionals to source, attract, and hire top talent for our organization.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers, HR business partners, and other leaders.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment marketing strategies to attract top talent.
  • Collaborate with our HR team to develop and implement effective recruitment processes and procedures.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to our recruitment team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
Requirements
  • 10 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition and development, with a focus on strategic leadership and team management.
  • 7 years of experience in active recruiting, campus recruiting, national and international recruitment, and employee onboarding.
  • 7 years of experience participating in human resources operational planning, implementing operational and strategic directives, and achieving formal quantitative goals and objectives.
  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant human resources discipline from an accredited educational institution.
  • Certification in recruiting is an asset.
  • CPHR and/or RPR is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated comprehensive senior leadership capabilities, with a focus on strategic planning, team management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and partnership.
