Position Overview: Enterprise Agility Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to enhance enterprise-wide agility by coaching and mentoring teams and leaders in the adoption and sustainability of agile methodologies. The Enterprise Agility Specialist will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate the integration of agile principles and to devise and execute strategies that deliver business value.

You will engage with specialized teams, enabling functions, leaders, and stakeholders to pinpoint areas for enhancement, formulate strategies, and implement changes that support agile practices. Your extensive experience in guiding beyond the Scrum framework will be essential in facilitating agile solutions across various teams, communicating insights to leadership, and quantifying coaching improvements.

In this role, you will interact with senior leadership and Agile leaders to drive the transformation of customer-centric journeys and value streams. Proficiency in coaching skills and various organizational change models is required.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Agile Transformation: Design and implement strategies that cultivate a culture of organizational agility to meet scaling demands.
  2. Organizational Structure: Develop governance and policies that optimize workflow, value creation, and employee satisfaction.
  3. Collaboration: Work with various teams to ensure predictability, alignment, and transparency at all organizational levels.
  4. Metrics and KPIs: Establish metrics that measure the impact of agile practices on organizational performance.
Leadership Support and Business Transformation
  1. Conduct assessments on transformation readiness with leadership regarding agile initiatives.
  2. Facilitate workshops aimed at enhancing agile practices at the enterprise level.
  3. Assist senior leaders in prioritizing business objectives and operational strategies.
  4. Align executive leadership with agile methodologies and project management principles.
Continuous Improvement and Collaboration
  1. Identify and implement enhancements to existing agile practices.
  2. Facilitate forums for teams focused on delivery and performance.
  3. Coordinate coaching efforts under a unified strategy.
  4. Promote collaboration around agile principles among leadership and teams.
Training and Development
  1. Encourage a proactive approach to organizational change.
  2. Foster a mindset that embraces change over maintaining the status quo.
  3. Develop tailored coaching plans for the enterprise.
  4. Guide agile delivery teams in various agile methodologies.
Strategic Alignment
  1. Ensure that change objectives align with overall business transformation goals.
  2. Verify that agile initiatives support the organization's strategic objectives.
Metrics and Reporting
  1. Quantify the effects of coaching on delivery outcomes.
  2. Establish standardized reporting frameworks for coaching initiatives.

  • Strong analytical skills in business, data, and process analysis.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with Canadian banking regulations.
  • Relevant agile certifications (e.g., CSM, CSP, SAFe, PMI-ACP).
