Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Agile Automation Specialist to join our team at BMO Financial Group. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for designing and developing test scripts, analyzing data, and optimizing control testing to drive efficiency and streamline processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Automation: Design and develop test scripts based on testing requirements, while remaining aligned with the approved test program, business risk appetite, and enterprise testing standards.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to develop test cases and optimize control testing through the design phase with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Test Automation and Development: Determine tests automation, test scripts, and work with development and client teams to source data, apply automation, and implement technology-enabled solutions.
  • Test Program Development: Develop desktop procedures to reflect the end-to-end execution of the test program.
  • Test Inventory Management: Update and maintain the test inventory with a mapping of test requirements to programs, test plans, and other key data attributes.
  • Test Program Methodology: Standardize test program development process to expedite the roll-out of strategic and/or regulatory testing needs.
  • Test Scope Definition: Define test scope based on test requirements and standardized sampling methodology, including test data population, sampling rationale, test frequency/timelines.
  • Resourcing and Capacity Planning: Define the resourcing requirements to develop test plans and reports, and to execute the test program and perform capacity planning.
  • Technical Support: Diagnose and solve technical issues and provide technical support to test scripts.
Qualifications:
  • Typically between 1 – 4 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in programming languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript is an asset.
  • Experience in Selenium testing framework is an asset.
