About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Kwality Sweets & Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement effective systems and procedures to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
    • Monitor and control inventory, supplies, and labor costs to maximize profitability.
    • Ensure that all health and safety standards are met and maintained.
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of food service staff.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to staff to improve performance and achieve goals.
    • Manage staff schedules, time-off requests, and performance evaluations.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and have a positive dining experience.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
    • Monitor and control expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
