Job Title: Part-Time Security Officer
Location: Various Sites
Schedule: Weekends
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct proactive and reactive security patrols
  • Spend the majority of the shift performing exterior patrols
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies
  • Secure and lock facilities as necessary
  • Monitor site access to prevent unauthorized entry
  • Collaborate with management to address safety concerns
  • Assist visitors and clients as needed
  • Enforce parking regulations
  • Document incidents and prepare reports
  • Investigate routine occurrences
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Valid Security License for Ontario
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Able to stand for extended periods
  • Capable of thorough site patrols
  • Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written
  • Must provide certifications in Use of Force and Management of Aggressive Behavior
  • Training options available for those without certifications
  • Note: Training is not compensated but costs are covered with a commitment to the position
