Role: Part-Time Security Position
Location: Victoria Park Harbour
Schedule: Weekends
Compensation: $19.00-$19.50/hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct proactive and reactive security patrols
  • Primarily perform exterior patrols throughout the shift
  • Respond to various incidents
  • Secure and lock washroom facilities
  • Monitor site access to prevent unauthorized entry
  • Collaborate with the Marina Coordinator to address safety concerns
  • Assist marina visitors as needed
  • Enforce by-law parking regulations
  • Document incidents and maintain accurate reports
  • Investigate routine occurrences
  • Undertake additional tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Valid Security License for Ontario
  • Current First Aid & CPR - Level C certification
  • Able to stand for extended periods (8-12 hours)
  • Capable of performing thorough site patrols
  • Proficient in English communication (both oral and written)
  • Must provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
  • Those without UoF/MOAB certifications may enroll in Paladin's training program prior to onboarding
  • Note: Training costs are covered by Paladin with a commitment to the position
