Job Summary

Lais Hotel Properties Limited is seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our computer networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration
    • Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
    • Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Hardware and Software Management
    • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal system performance.
    • Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade web server hardware and software to ensure high availability and performance.
  • User Support
    • Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
    • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
  • Security and Compliance
    • Implement and maintain security measures to protect network systems and data from unauthorized access.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for network security and data protection.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with the IT team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in network administration, IT infrastructure, or related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent technical skills in network administration, hardware, and software management.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
