Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Road Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ferrovial. As a key member of our infrastructure maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our road network, including maintenance, servicing, and repairs of roads and other infrastructure assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of road infrastructure assets.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including trucks, excavators, and other heavy machinery, to perform maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme weather conditions to ensure the safe and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of experience in infrastructure maintenance and repair preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, and generators.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to traffic, weather conditions, and physical demands. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
