Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Howard Johnson Express Inn. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Tasks: Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events; record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences; determine and establish office procedures and routines; schedule and confirm appointments; answer telephone calls and relay messages; answer electronic enquiries; compile data, statistics, and other information; order office supplies and maintain inventory; arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations; greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas; set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems; type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
  • Area of Specialization: Correspondence, reports and records, contracts, financial statements, invoices, charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams.
  • Personal Suitability: Ability to multitask, flexibility, organized, team player, accurate, client focus, reliability.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, permanent position, 40 hours per week, English language.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role. You will also need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and organizational skills.
