Position Overview

The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest accommodations at BEST WESTERN PLUS. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing a welcoming environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a pristine appearance.
  • Furniture Maintenance: Dust and polish furniture to maintain cleanliness and shine.
  • Linen Management: Stock and organize the linen closet efficiently.
  • Sanitation: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items responsibly.
  • Guest Assistance: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items promptly.
  • Personal Care Support: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene as needed.
  • Laundry Duties: Launder clothing and household linens to maintain cleanliness.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to ensure a spotless environment.
  • Changing Room Maintenance: Clean changing rooms and showers to uphold hygiene standards.
Security and Safety

Must be bondable to ensure trust and safety within the workplace.

Work Environment

This role is set in a fast-paced environment that involves repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads. Candidates should be prepared for a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with potential overtime required.

Experience Requirements

While experience is considered an asset, it is not mandatory. This is a permanent position with a working language of English, requiring approximately 30 hours per week.
