Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at BEST WESTERN PLUS. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Stock Management: Stock linen closet and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Laundry and Linen: Launder clothing and household linens.
  • General Maintenance: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings and clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and handling heavy loads.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and overtime required.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, and values and ethics.
