We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at BEST WESTERN PLUS. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
- Stocking and Supply Management: Stock linen closet and handle and report lost and found items.
- Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
- Laundry and Linen Services: Launder clothing and household linens.
- General Housekeeping: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Punctuality, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, and values and ethics.
Our hotel is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be working in a team environment and will be required to follow all hotel policies and procedures.
