Housekeeper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at BEST WESTERN PLUS. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and clean kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Stocking and Supply Management: Stock linen closet and handle lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Laundry and Linen Services: Launder clothing and household linens.
  • General Maintenance: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, organized, and reliability.
Working Conditions:
  • Hours of Work: 30 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
  • Duration: Permanent position.
