About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Hire and manage food service staff
  • Operations Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, and sales
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Work Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant environment
  • Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to stand for extended periods
    • Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and walk
  • Personal Suitability
    • Client focus
    • Efficient interpersonal skills
    • Team player
