Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Chuck's Roadhouse Bar and Grill - Orangeville. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and prepare and submit reports to management as required.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Management: Establish work schedules, and maintain a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to customer service and quality.
Work Environment

Our restaurant is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods, and may be exposed to noise, odors, and hot temperatures.
