Position Overview

The role of the Shift Manager at 2539752 Ontario Inc involves overseeing daily operations within a bustling coffee shop environment. This position is crucial for ensuring that both food quality and customer service standards are consistently met.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Environment

This position is set in a fast-paced coffee shop, where the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff regarding their job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Prepare budget plans and cost estimates.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit operational reports.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This role includes supervising a team of approximately 5-10 individuals.
