Position Overview

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our culinary team at Osmows. This position requires a blend of leadership, organization, and culinary knowledge to ensure a high-quality dining experience for our customers.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Work Environment

This role is set within a vibrant food service establishment, where teamwork and efficiency are key.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Prepare budget forecasts and cost estimates for operations.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Compile and submit operational reports as required.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure smooth operations.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the culinary genres offered by the establishment.
  • Oversee the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
