Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Supervisor at Osmows involves overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment. This position is essential in ensuring that our culinary team delivers high-quality meals while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Environment

This position is based in a fast-paced food service setting, where teamwork and communication are key to success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective work schedules to optimize staff productivity.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation and portioning staff.
  • Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Prepare budget plans and cost estimates for operations.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Compile and submit operational reports as required.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the culinary styles offered by the establishment.
  • Oversee the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
