Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing kitchen operations, reporting directly to the Chef de Cuisine.
  • Oversee daily culinary activities, ensuring excellence in execution.
  • Estimate and manage food supply costs and labor expenses.
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and specialists.
  • Prepare and present high-quality meals for various events.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and dietary restrictions.
  • Recruit and mentor new culinary talent.
  • Drive ongoing learning and development within the culinary team.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory culinary role within a full-service restaurant.
  • Proven cooking experience with a strong focus on quality.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong work ethic.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Desire for personal and professional growth in the culinary field.
  • Possession of or progress towards relevant culinary certifications is a plus.
  • Competitive salary range of $50,000 – $55,000, along with bonus incentives and gratuities.
