About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at OZEN KOREAN RESTAURANT. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Plan and prepare menus, estimating food requirements and costs to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Culinary Skills

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.

Food Safety and Quality Control

Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to food safety regulations.

Team Leadership

Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Inventory Management

Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Cleanliness and Organization

Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Work Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Schedule

30 to 40 hours per week.
