Job Summary:

NTT DATA Services is seeking a skilled Desktop Administration Specialist to join our team in London, Ontario, Canada. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing expert remote support to end-users, resolving complex technical issues, and collaborating with internal teams to drive service delivery improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert remote support to end-users, resolving Level 2 tickets requiring in-depth knowledge and advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to diagnose complex issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions to enhance user satisfaction and productivity.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics to proactively identify and address user and enterprise-level issues, coordinating with relevant teams for swift resolution.
  • Regularly assess the enterprise user experience, collaborating with delivery towers and clients to initiate and manage enterprise-wide service improvements.
  • Spearhead desktop engineering initiatives by crafting robust desktop images and managing application packages and catalogs to streamline enterprise-wide deployments.
  • Administer Windows system administration tasks, including the management of Active Directory and Azure services, to maintain system integrity and adherence to organizational IT standards.
  • Collaborate with internal delivery towers to identify and implement service improvements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational excellence.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and feedback, translating insights into actionable service enhancements that drive satisfaction and value.
  • Initiate and lead self-directed projects aimed at enhancing delivery and operations, with a keen focus on driving efficiency through strategic automation solutions enabling shift-left opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in a specialist-level role supporting enterprise clients, with a focus on service improvement and advanced troubleshooting.
  • 7+ years of IT generalist experience, encompassing a broad range of technical skills and a history of successful project delivery in complex environments.
