Job Summary

SEN INSPECTION SERVICES LTD is seeking a highly skilled Visual Inspection Technician to join our team. As a Visual Inspection Technician, you will be responsible for conducting thorough visual inspections to ensure the quality and integrity of various materials and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct visual inspections to detect defects and ensure quality
  • Establish and maintain calibration standards for NDI techniques
  • Operate and maintain ultrasonic equipment for testing and inspection
  • Develop and implement techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
  • Train and supervise junior technicians
  • Maintain accurate records of test results
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in non-destructive testing and inspection
  • College diploma or certificate in a related field
  • Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel for work
Preferred Qualifications
  • CWB Visual Inspector Certification Level 2
  • Experience with liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, and visual inspection techniques
  • Knowledge of construction and oil and gas pipeline industries
Working Conditions
  • Work outdoors and in various locations
  • Work 30-40 hours per week
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
