About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Non-Destructive Test Technician to join our team at Selva Inspection Services Ltd. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive tests to ensure the quality and integrity of materials and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct non-destructive tests using various techniques such as liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, and visual inspection to detect defects and ensure quality.
  • Establish and maintain calibration standards and techniques for NDI equipment.
  • Calibrate, test, and interpret ultrasonic equipment to ensure accurate results.
  • Develop and implement procedures for the examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
  • Train and supervise junior technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed test result reports.
Requirements
  • CWB Visual Inspector Certification Level 2
  • Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular 30-40 hour workweek. The work environment is primarily outdoors, and the successful candidate must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Language and Work Environment

The primary language of work is English, and the successful candidate must be fluent in English to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
