About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Non-Destructive Test Technician to join our team at Selva Inspection Services Ltd. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive tests to ensure the quality and integrity of materials and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Non-Destructive Tests: Utilize various techniques such as liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, and visual inspection to detect defects and ensure quality.
  • Establish NDI Techniques and Calibration Standards: Develop and implement non-destructive testing methods and calibration procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Calibrate and Test Equipment: Maintain and calibrate ultrasonic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Train and Supervise: Instruct and supervise trainees on non-destructive testing techniques and procedures.
  • Maintain Test Results: Record and maintain accurate test results and reports.
Requirements
  • Certifications: CWB Visual Inspector Certification Level 2
  • Testing Equipment and Methods: Liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, visual inspection, and non-destructive testing
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years, permanent position, 30 to 40 hours per week, English language
