Job Summary

Diligent Technical Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Non-Destructive Inspection Technician to join our team. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive tests to ensure the quality and integrity of materials and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Non-Destructive Tests: Utilize various non-destructive testing techniques, including radiography, ultrasonic testing, and liquid penetrant testing, to detect defects and ensure the quality of materials and products.
  • Establish Testing Standards: Develop and implement testing standards and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in testing results.
  • Operate Testing Equipment: Set up, calibrate, and operate various testing equipment, including radiographic and ultrasonic equipment.
  • Interpret Test Results: Analyze and interpret test results to identify defects and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Supervise Trainees: Provide guidance and training to junior technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform non-destructive testing.
  • Maintain Test Records: Maintain accurate and detailed records of testing results and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in non-destructive testing.
  • Certifications: Non-Destructive Testing Certificate.

  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a variety of environments and lift up to 25 pounds.
