Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and certified technicians to join our team as CGSB RT2 certified technicians. The successful candidate will have a strong background in non-destructive testing methods and procedures, and will be responsible for setting up and calibrating equipment, conducting tests, and evaluating results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Conduct tests to detect discontinuities and ensure quality, using a variety of NDT methods and techniques.
  • Establish and maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and standards.
  • Apply testing criteria and evaluate results to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Organize and report test results to management and clients.
  • Perform specialized inspections and may instruct and supervise others.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • CGSB Level II Certification in RT is an asset, with additional certifications in MT, PT, or UT also desirable.
  • Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections.
  • Knowledge of NDT equipment and procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is based on experience and certifications held. Nortech Advanced N.D.T. offers a comprehensive range of benefits, including group insurance benefits, a health spending account, and a Group Retirement Plan with employer contribution of 6% match for all employees outside of the probationary period.
