Role Overview

We are currently seeking a Claims Customer Support Specialist to enhance our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on our policies, products, services, and initiatives.
  • Handle incoming inquiries and new claims through an inbound call queue, utilizing your expertise and problem-solving abilities to facilitate requests.
  • Document conversations and actions taken on claims with accuracy and clarity.
  • Engage in challenging discussions with empathy and transparency regarding policy, insurance coverage, or operational issues.
  • Meet daily call center performance metrics while managing a high volume of inbound calls.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring minimal hold times and precise documentation.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and time-sensitive tasks effectively.
  • Participate in additional responsibilities as required in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service and sales is preferred.
  • Background in insurance is advantageous.
  • Must be self-driven, resourceful, and resilient in overcoming various challenges.
  • Possess strong organizational skills, a results-oriented mindset, and the ability to think quickly in a dynamic setting.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills to build strong working relationships.
  • No prior Canadian work experience is necessary, but eligibility to work in Canada is required.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is a significant asset, though not mandatory.
