Position Summary

We are seeking a Claims Customer Support Specialist to enhance our expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on our policies, products, services, and initiatives.
  • Handle incoming inquiries and new claims calls, utilizing your expertise and problem-solving abilities to facilitate requests.
  • Document interactions accurately and clearly to reflect discussions and actions taken regarding claims.
  • Approach challenging conversations with empathy and clarity concerning policy, insurance coverage, or operational issues.
  • Meet daily call center performance metrics while managing a high volume of inbound calls.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining minimal hold times and clear documentation.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and time-sensitive tasks while executing multiple responsibilities.
  • Be prepared for additional ad hoc tasks in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service and sales is preferred.
  • Background in insurance is advantageous.
  • Self-driven, resourceful, and resilient in overcoming various challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills, results-oriented mindset, and the ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, fostering strong professional relationships.
  • No prior Canadian work experience is necessary, but eligibility to work in Canada is required.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is a strong asset, though not mandatory.
