Role Overview:

The HR Recruitment Consultant is a seasoned HR expert with comprehensive knowledge of the complete recruitment cycle. This role is responsible for guiding client groups in strategically sourcing and attracting top talent to fulfill organizational requirements. The consultant collaborates with clients to develop retention strategies aimed at enhancing employee satisfaction and loyalty. By working closely with the recruitment team and hiring managers, the consultant ensures that all recruitment activities align with established policies and collective agreements. The consultant also represents the recruitment team at career fairs, providing valuable insights to potential candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment processes, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
  • Consult with clients to design and implement effective retention programs.
  • Provide coaching and support to HR Recruiting Advisors throughout the recruitment and selection process.
  • Attend recruitment events to promote the organization and attract candidates.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources; CHRP designation is an asset.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in HR or recruitment within unionized and non-unionized settings.
  • Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate business needs.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Extensive experience in full-cycle recruitment.
  • Healthcare recruitment experience is advantageous.
  • Strong ability to assess client needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential matters.
  • Collaborative problem-solving approach.
  • Proactive and accountable with solid decision-making capabilities.
  • Adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work independently while being a supportive team player.
