Role Description
The Project Manager plays a pivotal role, reporting directly to the Product Owner for each designated product. This individual is responsible for defining, prioritizing, planning, and steering the execution of development and deployment for assigned products. The Project Manager will coordinate development resources to ensure timely product releases, facilitate product demonstrations, and assist in onboarding new clients. Strong business insight, exceptional communication and organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage and collaborate with the software development team are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Management:
    Oversee the software development life cycle stages with regular updates to the Product Owner. Manage development resources as directed by senior management, ensuring successful deployment and post-deployment evaluations. Collaborate with the development team and Product Owner to guarantee that solutions meet functional and technical specifications while adhering to timelines and budget constraints. Maintain effective communication between support and development teams, managing priorities with input from the Product Owner. Engage with clients and internal teams on deployment strategies and provide ongoing updates to the Product Owner. Ensure thoroughness in the bidding process and develop templates to enhance efficiency. Conduct project reviews and generate comprehensive reports for executive leadership. Work with various teams to refine processes and enhance overall project execution.
  2. Product and Pre-Sales Support:
    Partner with the Product Owner to shape the Product Vision and Roadmap. Conduct needs assessments and gather requirements from industry stakeholders to ensure optimal product delivery. Analyze market trends and competitor offerings for strategic discussions with the Product Owner. Collaborate with UX designers to create intuitive UI/UX designs and prototypes for stakeholder communication. Provide technical demonstrations to clients and support the sales team during the sales process. Collect and analyze functional requirements from clients to align with existing technical features and plan implementations. Identify potential technical challenges and work with the development team to propose solutions to the Product Owner.
  3. Support and Documentation:
    Develop and maintain technical documentation, and oversee the Support team in creating user guides for review and approval. Manage the QA/Support team to execute acceptance and security testing, ensuring compliance during the staging phase. Design and implement risk management strategies for projects.
  4. Training:
    Deliver training sessions to clients when the support team is unavailable. Provide training to the support team and monitor quality assurance for established training programs. Continuously improve processes in collaboration with the Product Owner, documenting and communicating these processes to all stakeholders while ensuring adherence.

Additional Information

This role is based in a collaborative office environment, with no anticipated travel requirements unless specified by management.
