POSITION OVERVIEW

The Educational Program Director plays a crucial role in providing an exceptional educational experience by ensuring that the continuous learning requirements of families are fulfilled and that our educational offerings are executed by instructors as intended.
To guarantee a tailored learning journey, the Director assesses student achievements, engages with families regularly, and collaborates with school educators to support the application of skills acquired in the classroom.
Additionally, the Director observes and mentors the teaching personnel, ensuring comprehensive instructional experiences.
In the absence of the Center Director, the Educational Program Director acts as the primary contact for clients and oversees Center operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists the Center Director in conducting assessments for students, revising lesson plans, and creating instructional materials.
  • Deliver the educational curriculum in a small group setting when necessary.
    The candidate will engage and inspire students during lessons, and assess and document student progress post-instruction.
  • Organizes and manages all conference-related activities, including preparing materials and meeting with parents to maintain family enrollment.
  • Ensures that all educators are adequately trained and certified to implement educational programs and evaluates their performance.
  • Encourages and develops staff by providing continuous professional development opportunities.
  • Tracks student progress to ensure objectives are met and ongoing family needs are addressed.
  • Conducts regular parent conferences with appropriate documentation.
  • Maintains consistent communication with schools through teacher conferences, whether in-person, via email, or over the phone.
  • Reports any concerns regarding student progress or instructor performance to the Center Director.
  • May be required to visit schools to establish and nurture partnerships for marketing and collaboration purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred experience of one to two years in teaching; supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with current educational curriculum and policies.
  • Previous experience in retail and/or sales is advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer usage, with a solid understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
    Knowledge of iPads and Zoom is beneficial.

  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.

    The candidate should be articulate, organized, professional, detail-oriented, and able to solve problems in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
  • Effective written communication skills tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively; a strong team player.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is essential.
  • Reliable transportation is preferred.
