Job Opportunity

We are seeking students to work as peer tutors in the Learning Commons (library) in all subject areas during the school year. This position is only available to students currently enrolled in Olds College programming during the 2024/25 academic year.

Responsibilities
  • Meet with students to assist with their learning and understanding of course content, concepts, and comprehension.
  • Peer tutoring may occur on a one-on-one or small group basis, as required.
  • Complete reporting/data collection regarding tutoring hours.
  • Scheduling is based on student availability and may include day and/or evening hours.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated mastery in a subject area or course.
  • Recommendation from an instructor.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google suite of apps.
  • Willingness to work as a member of a team.
