**About Alberta Turfgrass Research Foundation (ATRF)**

The Alberta Turfgrass Research Foundation (ATRF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing research and innovation in the field of turfgrass management. Our mission is to support the development of sustainable turfgrass practices through scientific research, education, and collaboration. Located in Olds, Alberta, we work closely with Olds College to foster the growth and knowledge of individuals passionate about the turfgrass industry.

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist research techs in conducting field and laboratory research
- Assisting in the execution, and data gathering of research projects.
- Routine maintenance of turf research plots & use of related equipment.
- Possess a class 5 vehicle license
- Work safely without supervision
- Willingness to learn experimental design and analysis techniques.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in golf course maintenance equipment is an asset.
- Previous Horticultural training and field experience an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to take ownership of various projects & work unsupervised.
- Willing to work in adverse weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
