Job Summary

Zobility is seeking a highly skilled Design Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of complex systems, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration between cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Design and Development: Lead the design and development of complex systems, including EDM gearboxes, drivelines, and axles, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of system components, including hardware and software, to meet performance and quality requirements.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical issues, using analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure system performance and quality.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve design and development processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent engineering field.
  • Experience: 0-3 years of experience in engineering, with a focus on system design and development.
  • Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and self-motivation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent engineering field.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in engineering, with a focus on system design and development.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, ability to manage high-volume part/system complexity, knowledge of powertrain product development processes, and experience with electric motors for automotive applications.
