Mechanical Systems Design Engineer

Racar Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanisms, components, and systems.
- Power Plant Design: Design power plants, machines, and equipment to meet the company's requirements.
- Analysis and Testing: Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures, and conduct tests to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Project Management: Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost, and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems.
- Team Leadership: Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers, and review and approve designs, calculations, and cost estimates.
- Business Development: Assess business opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Risk Management: Develop risk management plans to mitigate potential risks and ensure the company's success.
- Commissioning and Training: Commission systems and components, and provide training to ensure smooth operation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in mechanical design and development.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
