Job Summary
CB Canada is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Food and Beverage Service Associate. This role will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a positive dining experience, and contributing to the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
- Sell food and beverages with an upbeat and positive attitude, promoting our menu items and ensuring guests have a memorable experience.
- Thoroughly know our menu and be able to answer questions and make recommendations to guests.
- Use our point-of-sale system to process transactions, handle cash and credit, and balance sales at the end of each shift.
- Clean and maintain the dining area by clearing tables, wiping down surfaces, and restocking supplies.
- Assist other team members as needed, providing support and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety, customer service, and cash handling.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in a high-volume food and beverage environment, preferably in a hospitality or customer service role.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask, meeting deadlines and maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional attitude and appearance, with strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach.
- Cash handling experience is preferred, but not required.
- Smart Serve certification is required, or willingness to obtain.
- Previous point-of-sale experience is an asset.
