Cybersecurity and Network Protection Specialist

Job Overview

Safe Engineering Services & Technologies Ltd. is on the lookout for a skilled cybersecurity analyst to enhance our research and development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough security evaluations by identifying vulnerabilities within desktop applications, networks, and software systems. The selected individual will undertake one or more of the following responsibilities:

  • Support the safeguarding of our IT infrastructure,
  • Contribute to the security of desktop software development while pinpointing potential security threats.
  • Assess the effectiveness of existing security measures and suggest improvements.
  • Propose modifications that will bolster all facets of organizational security.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in security and technology.
  • Investigate and analyze emerging cybersecurity threats and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Certifications such as OSCP or CEH (other recognized certifications may also be considered).
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Proficient in English for effective documentation and communication with clients primarily outside Quebec.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in languages and technologies such as .NET, Python, Intel Fortran 2008+, Visual Studio, Open-Vino, and Intel One-API.
