**Job Title:** Retail Security Investigator

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Security Investigator to join our team. As a key member of our asset protection team, you will be responsible for investigating and preventing theft and fraud in our retail establishments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough investigations into cases of theft and fraud, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses as needed.
- Collaborate with other security professionals to share best practices and stay up-to-date on the latest security threats.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement agencies to ensure a strong partnership and effective communication.
- Identify opportunities to reduce stock loss through operational compliance and implement effective solutions.
- Provide training and support to colleagues on asset protection policies and procedures.
- Participate in store audits and community events to promote a positive image of the company.
- Work closely with store management to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment.
**Requirements:**
- Valid provincial security agent license required.
- Strong understanding of Canadian law and regulations, including the Canadian Criminal Code and Property Damage Act.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and law enforcement agencies.
- High degree of initiative and integrity necessary to succeed in a dynamic environment.
