About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager - Sales to join our team at 2272803 ONTARIO INC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through effective sales strategies and operations management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales team, including performance management, training, and development.
  • Financial Management: Establish and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and to identify opportunities for growth and development.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in sales and operations management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive business growth.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting: Accommodation and food services, retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre, financial management/services.
  • Tasks: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments, represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, select middle managers, directors or other executive staff, establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
  • Supervision: More than 20 people, working groups.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Office.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, organized.
