Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Sous Chef to lead our culinary team and drive excellence in pastry operations.

About the Role:

As a key member of our Accor team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily pastry operations, ensuring food items are prepared to company standards, and conducting shift briefings to guide the pastry team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage food costs and production control to optimize efficiency and quality
  • Create menus, recipes, and training materials to drive innovation and consistency
  • Lead and train employees on cooking procedures to ensure high-quality food products
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas and promotions
  • Ensure all food products are handled and served safely to meet company standards

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in luxury hotel or restaurant environments with a focus on pastry operations
  • Knowledge of chocolate work and restaurant dessert design to drive creativity and excellence
  • Passion for food and customer service to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide the team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and efficiency
  • Completion of a culinary program and Food Safe Certification to ensure compliance and expertise
