We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at Minami Restaurant Ltd. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Create new and innovative pastry recipes that showcase our restaurant's commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of pastry cooks to ensure seamless execution of pastry production and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory to optimize profitability and minimize waste.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all pastry products meet the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Plan and direct the maintenance and repair of pastry equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to pastry cooks to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that all pastry products are presented and served in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Cook Trade Certification and Food Safety Certificate.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
