Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at OEB Breakfast Co. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our breakfast restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement efficient systems to manage food preparation, inventory, and supply chain logistics.
    • Collaborate with our culinary team to ensure high-quality food products are consistently delivered to our customers.
  • Staff Supervision
    • Lead and motivate a team of 3-4 staff members to achieve exceptional customer service and food quality standards.
    • Provide comprehensive training and coaching to ensure staff are equipped to handle customer complaints and concerns.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure the financial health of our restaurant.
    • Monitor and control costs associated with food, labor, and supplies.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are handled professionally and efficiently.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service or hospitality environment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
    • Basic math skills and ability to manage cash and credit transactions.
Work Environment

Our breakfast restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be required to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will be standing for extended periods and working in a dynamic team environment.
