About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at McDonald's. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are meeting performance expectations.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required, but 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment is preferred.
  • Work Setting: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
