About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Director to join our team at Plusgrade Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic partners, supporting them to develop and execute growth plans that drive revenue and deepen engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Account Management: Own and manage a portfolio of key strategic accounts, exceeding revenue targets and driving deeper engagement.
  2. Strategic Planning: Build and develop strategic account plans (ADPs) with partners, defining business goals and objectives, and implementing customized plans to achieve them.
  3. Execution and Collaboration: Orchestrate the execution of ADPs with the Partner Success Manager, aligning with other stakeholders and ensuring seamless experiences.
  4. Relationship Building: Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, becoming a trusted advisor and champion for their success.
  5. Negotiation and Contract Renewals: Negotiate and close on contract renewals, leveraging your deep understanding of partner needs and our value proposition.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Finance, etc.) to drive successful outcomes and ensure seamless experiences.
  7. Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze data and measure results, providing insights and recommendations to optimize client engagement and maximize value.
  8. Proactive Problem-Solving: Identify and proactively address partner needs, staying ahead of the curve and anticipating challenges and opportunities before they arise.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 10+ years of experience in account management, ideally with a focus on strategic accounts.
  2. Track Record: Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving significant account growth.
  3. Sales Cycle Expertise: Deep understanding of sales cycles and the ability to navigate high-level stakeholder relationships.
  4. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
  6. Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinking and a consultative approach, with the ability to tailor solutions to unique client needs.
  7. Passion for Excellence: A passion for exceeding expectations and a relentless drive to win.
